The Calgary Booster Club has announced their athletes of the year for 2013 and we are excited to share, for the first time ever, that they are presenting The Calgary Booster Club's Athlete of the Year for Special Olympics Calgary award. This year's recipient is Jennifer Riddell!
Jennifer represented Canada at the 2013 Special Olympics World Winter Games in Pyeong Chang, South Korea, where she won two gold medals and one silver medal in cross country skiing. Congratulations Jennifer!

We are also proud to share that one of our coaches and volunteers, Kelly Zackodnik,
was awarded one of The Calgary Booster Club’s 2014 Honored Athletic Leaders
Kelly is our head coach for snowshoeing and advanced athletics and is currently training with Team Alberta
as she will be coaching athletics at the 2014 Special Olympics Canada Summer Games in Vancouver July 7-13.
